JOIN THE FRIENDS OF THE PENNSAUKEN FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Have you heard of the Museum Pass Program? The Museum Pass program provides Library patrons the opportunity to visit a variety of attractions for learning, leisure, cultural enrichment and fun that our area has to offer such as:
- African American Museum of Philadelphia
- Battleship New Jersey
- Camden Children’s Garden
- Garden State Discovery Museum
- Morris Arboretum
- Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
This program is wholly sponsored by the Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library.
Whenever the Library is unable to fulfill its mission due to budget constraints, the organization they turn to for funding is the Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library.
In addition to the very popular Museum Pass program, the Friends organization has also sponsored many recreational, educational and fundraising events including the annual Art Show, the Poetry Contest, Bake Sales, our Spring Fundraiser (a Wine Tasting & Silent Art Auction event held at the Strain Estate), and Adult exercise programs.
We would be delighted to have you (and your family) become part of the support of this essential institution in our community. With your membership you will receive newsletters, periodic email announcements and a variety of other perks. The greatest benefit of all is the satisfaction that you are helping better the lives of many in the community.
